Patent Pending: Fire Protection Development
TLX Technologies currently has several patents pending on new component development for fire protection systems:
- A unique latching solenoid used to operate a pressure valve that releases fire suppressant material from a pressurized container. This invention replaces the pyrotechnic device commonly used in fire protection systems.
- The second patent is for a mechanism that detects whether the pressure valve is fully connected to the latching solenoid. This invention allows operators to detect whether the pressure valve is connected properly.
