Position Title: Assembler 1
Location: Waukesha, WI
Term of Employment: Regular
Type of Employment: Full Time / Hourly
Approximate hours per week: 40 (some overtime)
Work Hours: 7:30 – 4:00 standard
Start date of position: Immediate
Education: HS Diploma (some college preferred)
Experience level: 2 years manufacturing / assembly desired, none required
Overview:
We are looking for full-time permanent positions in our assembly department. Job involves assembly and test of solenoids. Specific duties include electrical assembly and soldering, coil winding, manual and press assisted assembly. Ideal candidate is able to stay focused, work quickly and accurately while handling small components and fine wire.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations
- Tests parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
- Identifies units that fail tests or tlerance levels and repairs as necessary
- Soldering of electrical components
- Operation of air hydraulic presses under 5 tons in force

Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- HS diploma or equivalent

Prior assembly/manufacturing experience preferred but not required
